Our congregation is a diverse group of Christians, bound together by God’s love. We seek to be a friendly people, who are striving to help one another and all others towards heaven. God is our heavenly Father, Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, and the Holy Spirit is our Helper. The Bible is our only authoritative guide book for doctrine and practice.
We are not a part of any denomination, nor are we a new or different church, but simply members of the church of Christ you may read about in the Bible, “…the church of God which He purchased with His own blood” (Acts 20:28). Our fellowship extends to all Christians who continue to trust in Christ for salvation, confessing their sins as they strive to follow after Him (cf. 1 John 1:5-2:2). Without condemning others, we speak the truth in love and recognize God as the Judge of us all.
Jesus Christ is head of the church. Our God given church leaders watch over us and help equip us for ministry. Each member is vital and important to our congregation, and everyone is encouraged to find their place among us and to use their God given gifts to build up the church in love.
Our Purpose
Our purpose of existence is to glorify God, our Creator, Savior and Helper, by fulfilling the mission He has given us.
Our Mission
Our God given mission is to share Jesus Christ by word and in life with all people of all the world.
Our vision
Our vision is to create and maintain, with God’s love and power, a soul conscious, evangelistic culture among us, in order that we might fulfill our God given mission for His glory. Our Approach and Action Plan is to connect to God, family, church and community. Jesus’ prayer for unity in John 17 calls for a personal faith connection with God and with all other Christians, which results in bringing others to a saving faith in Christ.
1. Connect with God – There is Someone bigger than us. Someone who is in control of everything we cannot control. That Someone is God and He is worthy of our love and worship. Develop a personal relationship with Him through corporate and private worship. Walk with Him in your daily life by following His word.
2. Connect with Family – God gave us family. His wisdom and His unrelenting love are vital to building strong, healthy families and restoring broken family relationships. Surrendering your will, allow God to bless your family.
3. Connect with Church – God brought us together in the church. He is glorified when we assemble to worship Him and as we work in unity and harmony fulfilling our mission of sharing Jesus with the world.
4. Connect with Community – We are in the world but not of the world to show Christ to the world. Avoiding confrontation with the world but not conforming to the world, we seek to engage the world with the compassion of Christ for the salvation of their souls. May the Lord help us to fulfill Jesus’ prayer for His church and the world, as we seek to connect with God, family, church and community!
